Many of us had a beloved teddy bear that served as a constant companion in our formative years.

These fluffy, adorable teddy bears are inspired by real-life bears, and while these real bears may not be as cute and harmless as their teddy counterparts, they are still pretty incredible!

One of the most distinctive bear species would have to be the panda bear.

These bears originate from China, and many people like to learn how to draw a panda bear to show their love for this species.

How to Draw A Panda Bear – Let’s Get Started!

To begin this guide on how to draw a panda bear, we will first draw the head outline of this bear. To do this, we will use some curved likes for the sides of the bear’s head.

The top of the head will also be drawn with some curved lines, but there will be some small, sharp tufts of hair poking off.

To finish off the outline, we will draw the ears. These will be rather round, and they will be drawn with a jagged outline to make them look nice and furry.

Finally for this step, draw some small, flat shapes for the eyebrows of this panda bear. Once all of these elements have been drawn, you can move on to the second part of the guide!


Step 2 – Now, draw the arm and the bamboo it is eating

When it comes to their diet, panda bears don’t really like trying new things!

They will eat bamboo almost exclusively, and we shall draw a tasty stick of bamboo for your panda bear drawing in this step.

First, use some curved outlines for the arm of the bear, and then draw some smaller rounded lines inside the arm outline for the bear’s hand. This hand will then be holding the stick of bamboo.

This will be drawn as a long, thin stick, and there will be several leaves sticking off of it. These leaves will be long, thin and pointy and will grow in small clumps.

Step 1: Draw The Eyes

Draw the eyes of the panda.

To begin creating you’re amazing panda bear, you will want to draw a small circle with a small circle inside it for the first eyeball. You can trace the inside circle twice cutting over in the middle to give more distinction to your eyeball.

Step 2: Draw The Eyes

Complete the eyes of the panda.

In this step, you will repeat step one to the left of your first eyeball but make sure the inside part of your panda’s eyes are beside each other in your drawings to give him the look that you want when your picture is finished.

Step 3: Draw the Nose

Draw the nose of the panda.

In this step, you will want to draw a circle that almost comes to a point at the bottom in between the eyes of your panda bear to create his or her nose. You can then add an oblong circle inside to finish forming the nose of your panda bear.

Step 4: Draw The Mouth

Draw the mouth of the panda.

You will now want to draw a line downward from the nose then make a U-shape that then comes to a point before bringing it down into a larger U shape and repeat the same thing on the other side to start forming the mouth of your panda. You can add a squiggly line in the middle with two small humps to form your panda bear’s tongue.

Step 5: Draw The Arm & Tail

Draw the face and the ears.

You can now add to half-circles and connect them to the top of your panda’s head to form his or her ears. No panda bear is complete without a pair of ears.

Step 6: Draw The Legs And Body
