As part of our Arts & Crafts programme which is run by Gemma, we are currently in the process of making papier mache hot air balloons – Last week we looked up some inspiration which can be seen in the pictures, we then began the process by covering the balloons with pva glue and newspaper, we have to do at least 3 – 4 coats and let them set, the balloon will then be burst leaving a balloon shaped shell, then the fun part, we are going to paint and decorate them along with our baskets and attach them with string, they will then be hung from the ceiling in our reception area – We cant wait to share with you our creations.
