Yes. You will require a permit to drive on the beach if you are in the National Park. You will be able to purchase a permit from the Shell Service Station.
Do you have to be staying with BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Rainbow Beach to use the facilities?
Yes. We do require all patrons that use our facilities to be guests with us.
Can I bring my bike/scooter/skateboard?
Yes. You are more than welcome to bring your bikes, scooters, and skateboards to BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Rainbow Beach. Just remember to bring your helmets!
Can I smoke at the park?
Smoking is strictly prohibited by State/Territory law inside any enclosed buildings within the park, within 5 metres of any entrance or exit of buildings and within 10 metres of a children’s playground or any other recreational facilities.
What time can I check in and check out?
Check in is from 12pm for sites and 2pm for cabins and check out is by 10am.
Can I check in early?
Early check ins are subject to availability. Please contact us if you are planning on arriving early.
Can I check in after office hours?
Yes. Please advise us if you will be arriving outside normal office hours so arrangements can be made for the collection of reservation information, access codes and/or keys, park map and rules.
Is BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Rainbow Beach pet-friendly?
Yes. Dogs are permitted on our designated dog-friendly sites and cabins. These dog-friendly options are subject to availability so please ensure you enquire with the park prior to booking.
Is linen provided?
Yes. Linen is provided on all beds in the cabins.
Can I have a fire?
Yes. Open fires are only permitted in fire pits provided at BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Rainbow Beach. You can hire a fire pit for $15 for your stay. If you choose to bring your own fire pit you must notify us at the time of booking to ensure it complies with guidelines.
What is your cancellation policy?

Secret Garden Escape
Surrounded by peaceful countryside and on the edge of the majestic Peak District, Secret Garden Escape is a delightful hideaway, perfect for a romantic getaway or a solo adventure. This relaxing haven is encapsulated in its own paddock and woodland, the most idyllic spot for nature lovers and ideal for a tranquil escape.
From the moment you arrive at Secret Garden Escape you will be enchanted. This super cosy bijou abode has everything you need in miniature, from the mini electric Everhot range and two ring electric hob to the fridge with ice-box, perfect for ice cubes for your evening aperitif. Cleverly crafted, the cute cabin-style double bed is simply blissful and dressed in lovely linens for a restful night. For quiet evenings in you can even catch up on a movie on the Smart TV. At the other end of the cabin the stylish compact shower-room awaits, perfect for a refreshing shower after a busy day exploring.
Step outside and your very own vast paddock awaits. This one acre space is all yours, apart from the occasional visit by a Silkie hen or two! Take a book and relax on the swing seat, unwind in the wood-fired hot tub (the owner even provides fluffy robes) or watch the sunset beside the flickering flames of the fire-pit, the choice is yours! There’s even a purpose-built pizza oven so you can treat yourselves to an Italian night under the stars.
Secret Garden Escape is a wonderful retreat with all you need for a relaxing getaway.
You may never wish to leave your beautiful holiday abode and choose to spend your days relaxing amongst nature or perhaps having a chat with your nearest neighbours the sheep, ponies and hens! If you do decide to travel further afield, head for Tittesworth Water, a picturesque reservoir where you can kayak, canoe, paddleboard or simply pull on your walking boots and stroll around the lake. The Peak District is renowned for its stunning beauty with miles of dramatic scenery, gorgeous villages and country pubs, all this is a short drive away and a walker’s paradise.
If retail therapy is the order of the day head for Leek, a vibrant town known as the Queen of the Staffordshire Moorlands with a good selection of independent shops, cafes and tea rooms. Visit on a Wednesday or Saturday to catch the local indoor and outdoor market where you can stock up on local produce and gifts. Blaze Farm is a short ten minute drive away and here you will find an award-winning farm, tea rooms, nature trails and the Potty Sheep pottery and craft studio. They also produce their very own ice cream, and this comes highly recommended!
The historic spa town of Buxton lies across the moors and is worth a visit for its splendid architecture and healing spa waters. Wander around the beautifully kept Pavilion Gardens or visit Poole’s Cavern with spectacular natural cavern, there is so much to see and do here.
However you plan to spend your blissful holiday days, Secret Garden Escape is perfectly placed for all your adventures.
