1. BEFORE YOU START – get better brushes. A small brush with short bristles (not pointy) is the key
2. Do the larger areas and darker areas first
3. Cover the numbers the 1st time (as it dries, double check that the numbers don’t show)
4. Don’t do “all the #1, etc.” Do a section at a time. That way if you accidentally go over the line you know how to fix it.
5. Rotate the canvas so you are always painting the closest area to you
6. A tabletop easel is helpful (and reading glasses
7. Don’t sweat the small stuffI am absolutely in Love with doing these and the company is great. If you have issues reach out to them.

Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2023There are many places on the canvas picture where there are the same numbers right next to each other. This results in a large area of the same color. I think they should have been different colors but were not. It will result in the painted picture not looking at all like the picture I requested. I don’t think that I will be ordering this type of painting again.

Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2023Mine was extremely detailed with a different number labeling every fraction of a millimeter so it took around 30 hours just to do the smallest size painting available (and I did it in 3 days), but it came out great and I’m very happy with the result, can’t wait to give it to my boyfriend for his birthday. For the price the quality was amazing, I only docked one star because some of the most important parts were missing numbers and I had to improvise for them, and also they assigned some strange colors for his face/my neck and it looked so weird that I redid those parts with colors I chose myself. It wanted me to paint his face salmon pink and my neck an array of bright oranges lol. Overall a good purchase and already ordered another one.
