What you’ll do
Would you like to learn to paint the amazing Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) in watercolour? This will be just the right class for you!
In this class, you will learn many interesting designs techniques, watercolour techniques on how to paint wet on wet, wet on dry, layering and blending. You will also learn different brushstrokes and techniques to paint pine trees, mountains, snow and the sky.
You will be using the Winsor and Newton Cotman watercolour and an A4 size high quality watercolour paper.
Knowledge required
Beginner friendly, you will be guided by a step by step process in class.
 
What you’ll get
Quality art materials used in class are provided. At the end of the class, you will take home your completed artwork on a quality A4 size watercolour paper.

About the artwork
This unique vibrant piece celebrates all the beauty of the Northern Lights The Aurora Borealis, a painting that depicts a fantastic, far-northern place, an auroral arch stretched across a quiet night-time sky, above dark mountains. The colours are enhanced with pigments of gold and the fine white lines depict movement up into the sky.
