One paint was missing and two were dry
Tried to communite and I was made to feel like was lying and trying to get free paint. I just went to the store and bought some similar colours.
Thanks for your review, David. In looking at the communication history, it does look like you just contacted us once. In reviewing the customer service team’s response, they just requested that you send a photo of what you received so we can have documentation of every issue we are getting. We are always more than happy to replace paint at no cost to you as long as it’s within 60 days of purchase.

This was an enjoyable “Paint-by-Numbers” project. With every brush stroke, the painting looked more real and lifelike. Most people think that it is an original painting and not a “Paint-by-Numbers” copy. I cannot wait to begin another paint project with this company!

Mixed feelings
I’ve done several of these now from this company and I have two complaints: some of the paint pods are completely dried up and sometimes I can’t see the numbers and wish they would send a map of the painting. Otherwise, love it. I’ve framed several and the quality overall is good
Sydney – thanks for your review. We have definitely had some issues with dried paint because of the heat. We are trying to manage our inventory as to not keep colors on our shelves for too long. However, if you are within 60 days of order, we will replace those pods. We do also offer complete replacement sets of paint if you are past 60 days. As far as the size of the numbers, we have definitely improved our process recently to minimize these instances as much as possible.

Fun family project!
I ordered a picture of my daughter’s favorite cat to paint and we’re loving it so far. We ordered a large one so it’s many hours of painting but a great way to spend some low key family time!

Poor Quality- Do not buy!
One of my paint pots was completely dried out and unusable. After arguing with customer service back and forth through email, they finally sent me a replacement. This new pot of paint was EXACTLY THE SAME as the first one- completely dried out and unusable. My painting is almost complete, just waiting for this missing color. It was supposed to be a Mother’s Day gift, but due to having to argue with customer service for weeks, it is now too late. They were reluctant to send me a replacement, telling me to just “mix it with water”. After being completely fed up with the entire process, I asked for a refund and they have not given me one. Please do not waste your time with this company, there are many other ones to choose from!!
Lauren – we want to apologize for your experience. That is not typical. We Just sent a few more pots of that color. Unfortunately, given that it’s a custom made product, we don’t do returns, especially given that you’ve finished most of your painting, but we reviewed all the pots of the replacement color that we sent you and you will be able to finish your painting with what we sent you.

Great customer service
I received my order but unfortunately the canvas was damaged. Through customer service they quickly solved the matter and send me a new one. I still have to start painting but it already looks great.

Way too complicated
I really had high hopes paint a picture of my best friends dog that recently cross the rainbow bridge. And I got the canvas the spaces for the colors were so tiny they could not even fit a number inside the boxes. And the brushes they sent were way too big to paint such tiny spaces.
Dana – we are sorry for that experience. You received one of the first kits we produced in our transition to production in the US, and we’ve since significantly improved our process. We have sent you a replacement kit and it should have addressed the issues you had.

My paint by number looks incredible! I loved how I was sent an email in advance asking to approve the design for my paint by number. It was helpful to see what I was paying for as a rough computerized product. I ordered a 20×24 inch canvas which works amazingly for reading numbers and lines clearly. Im not sure how it would be by going smaller. Im about a third of the way done with my painting and am ecstatic to see the final results

Colors are All Wrong
This is such a unique experience and I had really high hopes for it. I requested a paint by number with one of my wedding photos and the proof looked just fine. The shipping took forever, but I was eagerly awaiting it as a date night activity for my husband and me.
The first issue was that my order didn’t include the frame. Apparently, I bought the wrong option Why would you even sell the canvas without the frame? How do you paint the canvas without the frame?
So I had to spend even more money and wait even longer for a frame to arrive from Amazon before we could being. Fine, whatever.
Once we started painting I quickly realized that the paint colors were all WRONG. The colors they gave me for my wedding dress, which was white, were all shades of GREY. They changed my husband’s suit from grey to black. And they changed the color of our skin tones so much that we look like an entirely different couple! The finished portrait is unrecognizable and offensive! I don’t understand how this happened, because the proof was just fine! I’m deeply disappointed in the entire experience. Almost $100 was wasted between all of it. Would not recommend. Would not purchase again.

I did one of my scenic pictures I took from a family vacation. I love it so much it looks like a professional painting and knowing I took the picture and then painted it makes it just an even more wonderful piece of art to hang on my wall and also share as a gift to my family from our travels

The canvas came folded, it was REALLY hard to iron out, but any sign of the crease was finally gone once the canvas was taped down and semi-stretched. I used gesso (to get rid of white spots caused by paint seeping through the canvas), a bit of flow aid (paint too thick), a lovely set of my own paintbrushes (paints better), and multiple layers of paint (paint too transparent/splotchy) to get the result I wanted. Colours are not very accurate but good enough, I did mix one of the colours at the end and painted some areas I thought was much too dark. Overall this was quite an adventure since it was my first paint-by-numbers, and it took forever, but I’m pleased with the final result!
