    Method Of Applying Henna & indigo Mixture For Shades Of Brown/Auburn

    In this method, soak the Henna overnight. Mix the indigo with water just before you are ready to use it. Thoroughly mix the henna paste with the indigo paste to form a mixture of both. Use a large percentage of henna to get a redder or brown shade. To get a darker brown, use a larger proportion of indigo. To get the blond shade use a larger percentage of cassia, add henna ratio into it and soak both together overnight and add indigo just before you are ready to use it. To get a black shade, use the method of applying henna and indigo separately in two steps.

    Method Of Applying Henna & Indigo Separately For Black /Brown Shade


    Dye your hair first with henna to turn it auburn or red, then with indigo to turn it brown/black. To achieve the desired shade, leave the indigo on for the appropriate amount of time. The longer the indigo is left on, the darker it will be. If you leave it on for the maximum time, it can go black.
