Complete Sprayable Quart Kit
- Complete 1 Quart Custom Shop Hot Rod Flatz Acrylic Urethane Auto Paint Kit. The kit provides over 1 quart of sprayable material. It has a 4 to 1 mix ratio and is 2.8 VOC when used as packaged, as no reducer is required (optional XR & UR series reducers sold separately).
- Paint Kit includes 1 Quart of Hot Rod Flatz Single Stage Acrylic Urethane Paint Color, 1 Half-Pint of Custom Shop Urethane Hardener (KH2012-HP), 3 Pack of 190 Micron Nylon Automotive Strainers, and a 3 Pack of Wood Paint Mixing Sticks.
- Hot Rod Flatz Acrylic Urethane System is a high-performance professional, easy-to-use single-stage paint coating system designed for overall automotive refinishing. No clearcoat is required or recommended.
- Pre-flattened ready to spray low-gloss color with a consistent satin sheen with the desired 30-degree satin primer appearance. All custom mixed paint colors are mixed to order in a urethane basecoat for professional state-of-the-art high-performance O.E.M. quality refinishing, unless noted otherwise. Basecoat needs to be covered with a clear coat.
If your color shows “Single Stage Mix Only” that means there is clear coat mixed in with the color and it does not need to be topped with a clear coat.
All sizes, except for 2 oz. touch up bottles, are made ready-for-use and are pre-reduced.
The 2 oz. touch up bottle comes with a paint brush built into the cap and is perfect for use on areas smaller than a dime. See directions for using the 2 oz. touch up bottles.
If you plan to spray the paint in the touch up bottle, then reducer in a 2 oz. touch up bottle can be purchased separately. Check out the related products section below.
Each spray can covers approximately four square feet. The paint is ready-to-spray out of the can. See directions for using the 12 oz. aerosol.
The 1/2 pint, pint, quart, and gallon cans are suitable for spraying with your own equipment. These sizes come pre-reduced and are ready-for-use (RFU). See directions for using professional size cans.
