A large selection of thong sandals for women.

At BIRKENSTOCK, we value variety very highly. That’s why we have a large selection of different thong sandal models for women. These come in different shapes and colours, but also have different designs. Here is an overview of the different thong sandals for women in our range.

This design combines maximum support with the typical BIRKENSTOCK footbed – resulting in the classic toe post sandal. This version not only offers the wearer maximum stability, it also allows the feet to breathe in summer. This classic model is also available in a wide range of colours and patterns. This means that you can perfectly tailor it to your preferred look.

The modern one: the thong sandal with a criss-crossing design.

A slightly more modern model is the version with criss-crossing straps that form a loop around the toe. In this design, the big toe is not separated by a toe post, but instead slips into a loop at the front of the shoe. Short trousers or three-quarter length trousers perfectly accentuate this special design.

The smart model with double straps is great for those looking for a more secure fit. These BIRKENSTOCK sandals have a similar design to the classic version. But the additional strap gives these shoes an extremely casual look that goes perfectly with all of your everyday outfits.

The stable one: with an ankle strap.

The women’s thong sandal with an ankle strap provides an even more secure fit. This strap wraps around the ankle and can be adjusted using a wide buckle on the side.

The classic model with a platform sole is the perfect choice for those looking to add a bit of height to their look. The fashionable platform sole adds a few centimetres to your height and makes this thong sandals perfect for nights out on the town. The fashionable design is also sure to turn heads.

Step 3.

And for your last drawing step, all you have to do now is sketch out the thong like straps on each flop, and then draw the flip flops on the feet and add some definition by give the legs some ankle bones. Erase the guidelines and shapes, you are are now done. more

Step 4.

It’s time to start designing your flip flops. As you know the inner sole of these shoes can be bought with cool designs, or just plain. I think the ones that have patterns included are a little more durable then the plain ones. No matter what your pr eference is, you will do great. more

Description: I told you I was going to be back with some lessons that represented the upcoming summer months. Today I thought I would add a little something to the fashion category seeing how I haven’t uploaded anything there recently. Sit back and relax because I am going to show you “how to draw flip flops”, step by step. This type of summer footwear is by far one of my favorite things to put n my feet when the weather is hot and steamy. I don’t think anybody is really comfortable wearing socks and sneakers or other shoes because your feet feel like they are swimming in a swampy, mushy mass of dense sweat. The flip flop is also called thongs, and pluggers. The one thing that these shoes have over a regular sandal, is that there is nothing that secures a flop on your fee except your toes. All it takes to make a flip flop is a sole made out of rubber, and two straps that your big toe slips into. Now if you where to ask me who invented this type of footwear, I would have to say “that’s a toss up”. In all, it’s said that a man named John Cowie was the first person to design, and produce plastic flip flops. These shoes come in all styles, shapes, and colors, and if you’re really fashionable, you can even find them with flowers or other decorative pieces attached. Or you can simply add your own personal touches just by using some hot glue. If you’re a girl you will have fun with this lesson teaching you “how to draw flip flops” step by step. I shall return to you all with some more drawing fun so keep your eyes open and your hands and pencils ready.
