“The course gets 5 stars. I enjoyed learning about mixing colours and doing this before starting to paint a picture. Interesting how the type of water colour paint and the paper used can influence what is produced. I learnt the importance of being patient and waiting for the first lot of water and paint to dry , before going onto apply more paint and develop the painting. I particularly liked the exercise in which we practised free style water colour painting. The venue and teacher were lovely.”

What you’ll do
Do you love the ocean and the magical creatures you find in it? Do you love getting creative and having fun making art? Then this is the class for you! We will be using collage materials and watercolour paints to make our very own colourful seahorses!
In this beginner friendly class, our young artists will have fun learning how to paint and add collage to seahorse artworks!
This class is taught by practising artists in a warm and nurturing studio environment. At Gloworm Studios we treat each student as the young artist that they are and respect each child’s unique creative expression. We value the enjoyment of the creative process above all else.
By the end, all kids will leave this class with their very own colourful seahorse artwork and all the skills to continue this creative hobby at home!
