While students are not required to have prior art experience, those wishing to take the more advanced classes may have to interview before being allowed admission. One of the fantastic aspects to studying at The Arts Students League is the wide variety of classes in which to chose from such as printmaking, mixed media and painting. There are also children’s classes available.

There are tons of activities, some of which include wheel throwing classes, corporate workshops and children’s birthday parties. “Couples Night” is one of its most popular activities. It’s a little pricey at $100 per couple, but that price includes two hours of instruction and you get to make multiple items.

The school was founded in 1874 and has been busy serving the community ever since. In addition to the teen classes there are “after hours,” children’s and adult classes.

The freedom to be creative is the main focus of this art studio. There are night classes, private birthday parties and corporate events.
